![]() ![]() Pretty sure the point he was trying to make was obvious. What exactly do you think would happen with any pre-T2A or pre-UOR shard they release? That shard has suffered from every crappy expansion the others have. You know that Siege perilous is a pre tramel shard? Launched in 1999 and was always there. If you like trammy style pvm, crafting n crap, then maybe uof is better for you.Originally posted by mcrippins Originally posted by Loktofeit Originally posted by King-Kong Originally posted by Rolero ![]() It can get stale here without events, without expansions etc but, I'm a pvper, and you won't find better pvp style then here at uosa. Trammel was obviously a huge part of it, but so was the shitty mechanics that were also a big part of the downfall. Uor was te beginning of the end for uo, IMO. Not to mention, the last tournament that was held vinitrex won with a hybrid and he beat 3 top tier haly mages to do it, so you can play other templates that are viable. Yes here its MOSTLY hally mages, but its just a more fun fight style. Now, granted, dexxers were a ton more fun, but other than the lumberjack axer I thought they got boring as well. How many fights can you spam harm magic arrow and poison? I just thought it was retarded. BUT, I thought they sucked, it was so boring. Without sounding conceding, I was really good at second age pvp/mechanics, but when uor came out I probably became one of the top 2 fighters on the shard with those mechanics. Well man, all I can say is this, back in osi days, I played from late 97ish to early early 2002ish. I also bought a house right beside yew liches and can give u some silver swords weaps n co own you to the house to let you farm. If you plan on making the move contact me ill be glad to donate gold to help you start. I'm still holding on to hope they will return. Vinitrex, farnk, now ohm and when ashborn comes back he runs a bimonthly duel tourney. They don't understand how many people will come here or come back here just for events. Some of us haven't given up the fight yet. Its retarded and like freakig 88% of us want them back, but so far we haven't won the battle. But the gms took them out because they wanted complete era accuracy. This server had events until 2011(server started in 2007)and dare I say they were the best Evers of any uo shard (dead serious they were amazing). Actually gotta work for your money but uof looked like a trammy world so I thought it looked retardedģ). What GK's guide is really missing is that once you get through all of the bullshit, there is no greater joy in a MMO than playing on UOSA.Ģ) can't buy stuff here. I'll edit my post with the rules of UOSA by GuardianKnight. Just trying to make it on this server is an event in itself. Other events are monthly, sometimes bi-monthly. There are one or two events a week on regular, mostly being PvP. They took out automated events years ago, but players run events regularly. GM-run events are rare, and for the most part not that interesting when they do happen. The gains are slower than UOF, but not really bad at all. There is no legal way to use tender on this server. Mid and large houses have to be bought, typically for 2x deed. There are probably 100-120 small house spots open. How active is this server in regards to GM-run events? UO: Forever was very good about making the game feel fresh with consistent events! Is there sufficient space for a newb to place a house? A small house is fine.Īre there any cash-for-gold, skill-for-cash, or vote-for-gold mechanisms in-game?.I mean, if Richard Garriott lives here, shouldn't I? Just had a couple of questions if you don't mind! CoconutMonkey wrote:So I'm seriously considering making T2A my home. ![]()

Myst for Quest has 700 ratings, Myst for Rift has 10 ratings - either most Quest users don't have rigs or don't care for real VR, or PCVR users are only buying on Steam. Unfortunately things are not looking good for Myst in the Rift Store - only 10 vores, even if it's cross-buy. ![]() It will help enable a newer generation to experience this wonderful, iconic game." " VR is the ultimate way to experience this game, for those who don’t suffer motion sickness from it. and a Gold Medal awarded here (both 2D and VR versions reviewed): If you have played Myst before, then you need to check it out in VR to experience it in a whole new way." If you’ve never played Myst before, then you need to check it out. It looks better, sounds clearer, and plays smoother. I was already impressed with realMyst released last year, but playing this version in VR is a whole different experience entirely. It's a great thing I haven't played the game for 19 years, so my memory is blank (more or less) and everything is freshītw, nice review using the Rift - rating 90%: ![]() Of course this game is worth $30, especially if you like puzzles and are new to Myst. More painted wooden textures - and the polygon level is great There's nothing like a great floor texture Wooden textures - not bad - but actually not really Alyx nor Boneworks ultramersion quality either - but you need to see it inside the game Sun, shadows, and lots of 3D grass - looks awesome - but I kinda think PCVR users just got the raw 2D version. Rocks could look like some tessellation was used, but maybe it's just a high poly level. I still think Obduction is performing much better than Myst, and for those of you knowing Obduction you get the idea. Still the game looks and plays great using either res 225% + EPIC + DLSS Quality - or just plain vanilla res 300% + EPIC. Actually didn't try to turn off motion smoothing, maybe that will help? I'll test that later. The game does run fine with no DLSS and EPIC settings using res 300%, but I don't get 90 fps - and motion smoothing is my friend. If I Increase to res 300%, then 90 fps is a no-go with no DLSS, and I need to use DLSS Performance to get anywhere near 90 fps. If I want solid 90 fps using EPIC settings, the game works fine in res 225% with DLSS Quality. Myst still works fine - but I am using a RTX 3090. ![]() Actually I think performance in the game is worse the Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot, lol. Well, the dude does not state his performance (fps), but if I want just 90 fps then even res 300% is close to a no-go when using the EPIC in-game setting, DLSS or not. Now it's here, now it's time to settle an old score.Ĭontrols feel natural on the index. MYST OCULUS QUEST SERIESI never finished the myst series games because I have been waiting for a VR version of a game like this for over 20 years. The other thing is it's very optimized on EPIC settings for my rtx3090 and SUPPORTS DLSS! which is a BIG WIN! This game provides the VR legs people ask for with options available at for you to pick at start of the game which is a BIG bonus. Everybody seen me brag about the 300% supersampling I play all my games at but there is no need for that. What I am going to talk about is the performance.
